Where is Ms. Hayward?

Just a short post to thank everyone at St. Jude's Academy for their support while I have had to be away this past week to be with my family following the death of my dad on Wednesday.

My Dad (and mom) instilled a love of music and reading in me. He was always singing. He will be missed.

WE ARE MUSICIANS!

*Musicians are Thinkers - we critically listen to the patterns and how music music is put together and think about the effects these choices have.

*Musicians are Risk-Takers - we take risks each time to try to create a piece of new music, each time we learn new music, and each time we perform for an audience.

*Musicians are Reflective - As the Arts Scope & Sequence tells us, "Music is both an active and reflective process when making and listening to it."
